Jeigu orientuotis i sporta, tai tarp M400 yra zymiai idomesniu modeliu nei 516. Pavizdziui Carbon modeliai - 16 cioliu vamzdis, spreendziant is visko midlenght duju sistema, tinkamas handguard. Pastatyti normali kompensatori ir taikiklius, ir gausis labai neblogas karabinas openui, gerokai patogesnis ir svelniau veikantis uz 516.
